Color Hues #98 Red and Black

Welcome to a new Color Hues Challenge! It’s Karen here with a new color combo I hope you’ll enjoy: Red and Black. I figured I’d be in need of holiday cards about now, and have always loved this combo for the holidays. But it certainly doesn’t have to be a holiday card. These colors are also faves of mine for a variety of occasions.

On behalf of the Design Team, I want to wish Cindy Beach the best of luck with her upcoming move! She’s starting a new chapter in her life, and this is her last challenge with us. We will miss her terribly—her creativity, warmth, and wonderful designs, but wish her the very best as she heads into this new adventure.

There’s loads of inspiration by the Design Team and our two fabulous Guests, Izzy Scrap and Colleen Begley! We’re so glad to welcome them for this challenge. So take a look below and come join us in the gallery!

It really made my Florida heart sing.

Thank you to everyone who participated these past two weeks.
The gallery was full of amazingly creative cards using my Mustard and Olive

  Let's get right to it!

Color Hues #97 Olive and Mustard

Hello fellow crafters.  It's Jules here, host of this fortnite's Color Hues Challenge.  Before I get to my color choices I'd like to extend my warmest thoughts to any of you affected by Hurricane Milton here in Florida.  Between the hurricane and the preceeding tornados it was definitely an extremely scary week for many of us.  I do hope our fellow crafty participants escaped the worst of the damages.

Now on to the fun stuff!  We like to keep our color duos fresh without frequent repeats which meant I had to be a bit creative with my color choices as they pertain to fall.  We don't get much, if any, fall here in Florida so we have to manufacture it in any way we can.  *wink*  For something a bit different I've chosen Olive and Mustard as my color choices.  (It is always fine to add in approved neutrals such as black, brown, tans, white, cream, gold and silver however the use of other colors will exclude your card from the winner's circle.)

Let's see what the team made for you !!!

The challenge will be open until October 29th @ 9:00 am EDT.

The winners will be posted an hour before our next challenge and the overall
winner will have the opportunity to be a future Guest Designer.

Most importantly, just have fun!

Jules

Winners of Challenge #96

Hi, Julie here with the results of my colour challenge.

Thanks to all who participated, the gallery was glowing with shades of purple and orange! I had great fun looking at all your interpretations, such a varied selection of themes.

As usual it was difficult to choose my winner and top picks but after much thought I did narrow it down.

So without further ado here they are!

 Congratulations Izzy

Color Hues #96-Purple and Orange

Greetings from a very soggy UK, Julie here with your October 1st Challenge.
It's supposed to be the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness here, but the weather is anything but mellow and the wind blew all my fruit off the branches last month!

So down to business. I chose a colour duo that hopefully will spark some ideas suitable for the season.

Before you see the fabulous cards below from the team, I am happy to say that we have two guests joining us today, welcome, Stephanie and Trina! We are happy to have you both with us.

Now, let’s go see how everyone was inspired with my colour palette!
