Hello!

Eek!!!
Welcome to Color Hues!
I am Super Excited to announce there is a new Color Challenge Coming very soon!  It has been really hard for me to keep this news from slipping out, but it's finally time and I couldn't be more thrilled!

Let me tell you a little bit more about this challenge.

What are we? We are primarily a paper crafting challenge blog that mostly focuses on card making. However, if you dabble in other forms of paper crafting; gift boxes, tags, banners, or that sort of thing, we welcome that too. Twice a month we will post a challenge that suggests the Hues of Color we wish you to focus on.  You may use any gradient tone or hue of the two colors we suggest and neutrals are always welcome. (for example... white, cream, black, grey and kraft)

How often do we post:  We are a twice monthly challenge.  Our challenges will go live on the 1st and the 16th of every month.  The first challenge will end on the 14th and the second challenge will end on the 29th. All new posts and endings will be at 9AM EST.
Here are some definitions, followed by why I wanted to start a Color challenge to begin with.
Color:
The property possessed by an object of producing different sensations on the eye as a result of the way the object reflects or emits light:
Hue
A gradation or variety of a color; tint.
Gradation
A minute change from one shade, tone, or color to another.
Why Color Hues? I have missed the Dynamic Duos every since they ended their card challenge blog many years ago. I have vowed that when I retired I would try to bring something like it back to the Cardmaking Community, using the same concept of Two Colors.  My family helped me settle on the name as I had too many to choose from and couldn't decide.  In actuality, I started putting my team and the blog together even before I made up my mind to go ahead and retire.  So the blog technically came first.  Love when things work out that way!
The Guidelines...Gotta have those!
Challenge Guidelines:
* Your card and or project can use ANY HUE of the TWO colors selected for you and of course         neutrals are welcome. (for example...white, black, grey, kraft, and cream)
* You may link up to 3 separate projects for each challenge.
* Please add a direct link to your blog or to an online gallery. (No Back Linking)
* Please include our graphic and a link back to our blog.
* You may combine this challenge with up to 4 other challenges.
* When using digital images they must have been colored by hand.
* If you don't have a blog feel free to use Instagram or other online galleries for your project. Copy the URL location of your card in your gallery and add it to the linky. Please remember to mention us by name or tag us so we may find you.
 All products are welcome!

Choosing Winners & Honorable Mentions
- All entries must follow the guidelines and the colors of the challenge to be eligible.
- The overall challenge winner will be invited to be a future Guest Designer.

I hope you are as excited as the team and I are to get this color challenge started!
