Color Hues #94 Rust and Green

Carol here, warmly welcoming you to September and, with it, a new colour combination: Rust and Green. Warm, earthy, rustic, even metallic, Rust offers much versatility. Pair it with different shades of green and you have a combination that is utterly beautiful. Little wonder we see this duo featured in weddings, home decor, fabrics and so much more. Even Mother Nature loves this combination, bringing it to us in a variety of flowers and plants.

For fabulous Rust and Green card inspiration, look no further than the wonderful creations by our guest designer, Colleen, and my oh-so-talented teammates. 

Just a hint about ways to incorporate Rust: please note that it covers a broad range of hues: terracotta, burnt orange, ginger, bronze, spice, and cider. I hope one of these works for you.

Color Hues #93 - Orange and Yellow

Hi there crafty friends, it`s time for a new color duo at the Color Hues Challenge! It's Tracey here as your hostess for Challenge #93. I wanted to pick bright summer colours, and ORANGE and YELLOW seemed perfect as we head into the second half of August.

I'm sure you all feel the same but time seems to be zipping along and I can't believe it's already the middle of August, where has the summer gone? It just got here! 

I chose Orange and Yellow because those are the colors we are hopefully seeing in our environment. Whether it's in your garden, your neighbour's garden or just the sunshine, I hope you find something to inspire your creativity as you craft for Challenge #93!
