Color Hues # 124-Gray and Red

This is Bonnie saying hello and Happy 2026!

We've had a nice break over the holidays, and I hope you are as ready as we are for another creative year of color!

I've picked colors that I see outside my windows in January. I see the gray of the trees and red berries on the nandina bushes, along with the pop of red in the trees from a cardinal.

What do you spy that's gray and red when you look out your window?

Color Hues #123 Pink and Green

Hello crafty friends! It's Tracey here today as your hostess for the Color Hues Color Challenge #123! When I chose the colors I didn't want to choose traditional holiday colors so I chose Pink and Green to switch it up a bit!

You are welcome to create in any hue of pink or green. Fun Fact: A hue is any shade of a Color made by combining primary and secondary colors without adding any white, black or gray. That is definitely news to me. I find color theory to be very interesting.

We know that everyone likely has lots to do to get ready for the holidays so Challenge #123 will run for the entire month and will close on December 29th. We can't wait to see your creations!

Color Hues #122-Teal and Silver

Hello Crafters!

Nancy here, and I am delighted to be your hostess today for this middle-of-the-month challenge. Is anyone else shocked that it's mid-November already? I certainly am!

As you will see below, I have chosen the color Teal as one of my pairings for this challenge. As you look at the DT cards, you will notice that we all have used many different Hues of Teal, and the most important thing is not to get too hung up on the exact tone and just have fun creating!

Before I move on to the cards below, we are delighted to have Loll and Joanne guesting with us today! They both were winners of two of our past challenges. Welcome, ladies!
