Color Hues #139 Yellow and Orange

Hello friends. Marcia here with our next challenge and I have chosen the coloring pairing of yellow & orange. I was thinking late Summer and Sunflowers, but there is so much more that this color pairing would work for, so use your imagination, stamps, dies, & stencils, and the sky's the limit! (Maybe someone could even figure out a Christmas card using these 2 colors?) Just remember to stick with HUES of these 2 colors and neutrals too, of course.

And, unfortunately, green is NOT considered a neutral!

The Design Team and our fabulous Guest Designer, Priscilla, have lots of inspiration below to get you started. Have fun!

Winner's Post #138-Navy and Teal

Hello Crafters,

The Navy and Teal Gallery was filled with the most wonderful card designs—and for so many different occasions. From flowers to the holidays . . . how to choose a winner and three runners-up?  I had a long list that had to be pared down. Thanks so much to everyone for joining me in making the Navy and Teal colors shine!

After much deliberation, here are the winners:

Color Hues #138-Navy and Teal

It’s Karen here with the first Color Hues Challenge for August. I’m quite sure I had a design idea in mind when I chose Navy and Teal, but that idea had vanished when my turn arrived! I had no trouble finding ideas for this combination, however, and I hope the same will be true for you.

The Design Team and our fabulous Guest Designer, Rachel Ball, have lots of inspiration to get you started. I can’t wait to see what you create.

Winner's Post #137-Black and Red

Hello Crafters, Nancy here!

Many thanks to those who shared your creativity with us over the last two weeks! There was such a wonderful array of cards in the gallery using Black and Red. I wish I could select all of you as my winners, but that is not possible. My list of potential winners was so long, but after a ton of deliberation, I finally narrowed it down!

Thanks so much for taking the time to play along with our challenges; the team and I really appreciate it!
